An Open platform enables Allscripts to offer more innovation than we could possibly build on our own. It’s essential to support our clients as the industry rapidly transforms to value-based care models.
Today we launched a new site that reflects our commitment to Open, the Allscripts Application Store. It is a public site that showcases the applications built by our Allscripts Developer Program partners, and it is now available at http://store.allscripts.com.
What you’ll find at the Allscripts Application Store
Through this site we can connect clients instantly with the approved, third-party apps that will help enhance their core clinical applications.
For example if you need health calculators integrated with Allscripts Enterprise EHR, such as eCalcs by Galen Healthcare or patient engagement solutions from Krames Staywell you’ll find it here. With more than 27 approved apps and counting, there is a lot to choose from and our testing teams are working hard to approve new apps every week.
This is also the place to find information and resources about innovations from Allscripts Developer Program (ADP) partners. It will include details about our ADP partners, how to become a partner and everything you need to know about applications we’ve tested and approved.
Search functions can help you zero in on the right app for you
Our search and filter functions help you combine multiple categories and filters so you can find the apps that best fit your needs. You can choose to see only applications in a particular category, such as all “Devices,” or you can search applications compatible with a specific Allscripts product. Or maybe you’re interested in a particular outcome and can search by “Achieve Meaningful Use” or “Manage Chronic Condition” and more.
Both clients and developers were involved in the planning stages, advising about what mattered most to them. This store is more robust and user-friendly than an earlier version, previously only available on ClientConnect. As we continue to build out the site, you’ll see even more features, functionality and information available by the end of the year.
